B2C4I(Battalion and Below C4I) is a C4I system for small echelon like battalion or company to provide battlefield visualization to the each echelon's commander. Command Control Center of Battalion consists of ruggedized notebook or PC which is used to control all the battalion operations by battalioncommander or staff officers and PBS (Potable Base station) which is used to connect to MBIT in order to communicate with company and below echelon and MBIT which is mobile terminal. The company and below echelon can exchange various battlefield situation using MBIT which is PDA based potable terminal. MBIT has built in GPS receiver and RF communication module to send its location automatically and to exchange battlefield message with battalion or/and other echelon including digital map function. Also, it has ad-hoc mesh network functionality.

Using the MBIT only, self healing, self configuring and robust battlefield network is established for company and below echelon. MBIT provide two advantages to commander of battalion and below echelon.
The first is near real time situation information providing. All the battlefield situation information including location of friend and enemy are collected and shared.

Therefore, battlefield is visualized. The second is digitalized command and control
network providing.
